ENZYMES

The effect of ChangeXL is based on the advanced XBEE enzyme technology. The enzymes, also called biocatalysts, cause a molecular change in the fuel, which leads to faster and better combustion, fewer emissions and lower maintenance costs.

CONVENTIONAL FUEL

Conventional fossil fuels consist of complex mixtures of different types of molecules. Many of these molecules are unsaturated (e.g. due to double bonds between atoms) and have long or branched molecular chains. The presence and amount of certain hydrocarbons and other molecules varies per fuel type. The same applies to biofuel mixtures and to a certain extent to FAME.

ENZYMES ARE ADDED

The enzymes act as biocatalysts that cause chemical reactions and connect or break down substances at the molecular level. They break down long and complex molecular chains in the fuels and saturate the fuel mixture with oxygen. ChangeXL breaks down the (condensed) water present in fuel and prevents problems with bacteria, moulds and yeasts by eliminating and dissolving them in the fuel. This results in a more stable, homogeneous fuel. The enzymes continue to work actively throughout the fuel chain.

As a result of the catalytic process, the molecular structure of the fuel is rearranged and simplified, resulting in a more efficient and complete combustion. This creates a cleaner fuel that ensures cleaner storage tanks with less sludge and a longer shelf life of the fuel. The cleaning effect of ChangeXL ensures more continuity and less unwanted downtime due to better fuel quality.
